I'll now describe a guitar which belongs to an acquaintance of mine. He's into heavy metal eg Metallica, Guns & Roses, Steve Vai, Velvet Revolvers, blah-blah.

Body = Basswood
Neck/Fingerboard = Maple/Rosewood
In-lays = Skulls & Bones
Frets = 24 XJ
Hardware = Black Nickel
Tuners = ESP-ltd
Pick-Ups = EMG-ESP LH-300 Humbuckers

This guitar is the cheapest among all of Kirk Hammett's signature series. Nevertheless, this guitar is worth more than the actual price which is about €500. For those looking for power sounds and/or loves shredding techniques, this is the guitar. Metallica tones are clearly evident from the humbuckers. Which is why Kirk Hammett has this in his series.

Okay Okay, you got me, he's not using KH-202. How sharp your eyes are!! He's seen here using a KH-2. I'll try not to cheat you guys ever again.

Oh btw, it's quite durable as well!! Drop it (unintentionally) for less than 20x and the paint won't chip!! Isn't that cool? LoL!!!
