Martins D-35

The ticket means I went to see a concert at 8pm on the 13th March (LoL!!). Figure out the rest.

It was fun. And furthermore, I didn't expect to see Dave Matthews live in person. And even though I was alone, I doubt any of my friends (Germans & Bruneians) would enjoy spectating.

And I realised even though the ticket stated "No Cameras Or Videos", people would still take them in. I'll do that in future.

Taken with my camera phone (lousy but it's ok) I was standing 5 rows behind the barricade. Let's just say I could even see the wordings of "Martins & Co." on the guitar. That close! Or maybe it's just my super eye-sight~~

Dave Matthews had 5 guitars during the show which kept changing back and forth and his friend had his Martin's D-35 throughout the 3 hour long show. And I have to say, even though I know who the friend is, he sure is understated. He improvised a lot of his riffs that made the show itself unique. It's like listening to the same song on your mp3 player repetitively but of different versions!! Except for the singing part, the solos for most of the songs performed are never the same as the ones I have heard before.

Specs:
Top: Solid Sitka Spruce
Back & Side : Solid East Indian Rosewood
Bracing: Standard X
Pickguard: Black
Finish: Polished Gloss
Finish Neck: Satin

And yes it's the same guitar he uses during the show. It's a wonder though why the guitarist doesn't have a signature model to his name. He's quite famous (don't know if you people know who he is). Probably because he's an independent artist, not bound by any big recording label. But as long as DM has a huge respect for him, I guess the guitarist wouldn't mind.
