John Mayer Stratocaster®
It's about 2 weeks. So I am planning to write regularly. Every 2 weeks. Or less. Depends on what I'll be doing on a Saturday. Anyway. As most of you know, I am planning to buy another guitar. I've been telling people that. So when I came back to Germany, the guitar I was searching for was not available. It was available before I left Germany. Now it isn't.. :(
Anyway, from 4 out of 5 guitar shops in Germany, 1 has replied positively. Although I might have to wait for a long time. But then again, I'm happy with my acoustic at the moment. So the new addition is gonna be an added bonus!
Anyway, the guitars that are available from the John Mayer Series are:
Guitar specs for both are similar and are as stated:
Colours: 3-Colour Sunburst and Olympic White (You guess which one I am referring to)
Body: Select Alder
Neck: Maple, Thick "C" shape
Frets: 21 Dunlop® 6105 Narrow Jumbo Frets
Pick-Ups: 3 Big Dipper Single-Coil Strat® Pickups with Special "Scooped" Mid-Range voicing to meet JM's Specs.
Pickguard: 4-Ply Tortoise Shell and 3-Ply Parchment
Factory Strings: Fender Standard Tension ST250R, Nickel Plated Steel
And a couple more accessories given.
However, the guitar I am searching for is~~~~~
This is the Limited Edition John Mayer Stratocaster® (in Cypress Mica)
....
Actually all the specs for the 3 guitars are similar.. But I still want this one. Tunggu saja lah dulu~~
Anyway.. 5 non JM/DM/EC songs I am currently listening to:
Rihanna - Unfaithful = This song is interesting. Not to forget that haunting piano tune. I seem to choose this song first if someone has the CD in the car. Oh yeah, the music video is also cool. I like Rihanna then where she doesn't have any tattoos.
Michelle Branch - All You Wanted = This song has 2 versions that I know of. I like the 2nd version. Sounds more stripped down. You can listen to that here.
Five for Fighting - 100 years = I don know why I listen to this song. It came up in my mind randomly. I think it was due to Smallville.
Ben Folds feat. Regina Spector - You don't Know Me = This song is fun. I was intrigued actually. I had a listen of this song initially from Conan O' Brien some time in Early October. Regina Spector's voice is really unique.
Motion City Soundtrack - My favourite Accident = Came up in my iPod randomly. Self explanatory. Have a listen. I recommend the acoustic version. The studio track is too "thick" for easy listening.
